In November 2021, we installed and put into operation a 24 Inkmaker color mixing station at our company. Founded in Italy in 1987, Inkmaker is a world leader in the production of integrated automation systems for dosing and mixing inks.
Inkmaker’s patented software and systems ensure consistent, instant color transfer with high accuracy. Inkmaker’s mixing station allows you to automatically produce pontoon and triad ink formulations for various printing conditions. Precise formulas developed in the company laboratory with the help of the K Printing Proofer and the latest licensed InkFormulation software, coordinated with the technological department, are stored in the Inkmaker station and used in new and repeated print runs, reducing the pontoon preparation, correction and job startup time. The station guarantees accurate reproduction of formulas, the station software allows for control of materials, balances, statistics and order-by-order accounting.
The Inkmaker Mixing Station allows the maximum and loss-free use of paint and solvents, ensuring less paint and solvent consumption, which results in energy and resource savings, thereby reducing emissions into the environment.
